Project Summary: 

Over time the the TLO bin roof and supporting structure and been heavily corroded due to moisture in the product and needed to be replaced

Customer Challenges:

• Building from the ground would affect the loading schedule
• Transport and materials would have elevated costs

AT-PAC Solution:

• Build cantilevered scaffold modules on the ground then craning them into position around the TLO bin, once secured the final 4 mts were added as modules.
• Provided conceptual design to client where by we removed the need to stick build a traditional scaffold from the ground up. 

Impact:

There was a vast reduction in man hours compared with the clients original scoping projections. This translated as direct cost efficiency across the project. A short 4 hour window between trains was enough to build gantries over rail corridor allowing working at height.
